Bangor, often referred to as the “Queen City” and the “Gateway to Downeast Maine,” is the third-largest city in Maine. Located in Penobscot County, it boasts over 30,000 residents. Home to Abraham Lincoln's first Vice-President, Hannibal Hamlin, and to renowned novelist, Stephen King, Bangor is the retail hub for central, eastern, and northern Maine. For years a logging community, Bangor is quickly becoming home to a vibrant arts and entertainment community. Bangor’s leaders are increasingly focused on finding ways to work better together in partnership with community residents, business owners, not-for-profit organizations and municipal offices. This combination fosters the perfect environment for CPPC Bangor to develop and thrive! While connecting with resources throughout the City, Bangor CPPC is currently active in the neighborhoods of old and new Capehart.
